Rock musician Sammy Hagar has had a very successful music career as
a solo artist and in several different bands like Montrose
(1973-75), HSAS (1984), Van Halen (1985-96, 2003-05), and currently
Chickenfoot. For decades he has written and performed many hit songs
and records. If you ask him how has been able to have such a long
and fortunate career he will tell you much of the credit goes to
aliens.
At a young age, Hagar had his first
experience with extra-terrestrials when he woke up in the middle of
the night to find himself surrounded by aliens. They were conducting
experiments on him and “downloading” everything in his brain. The
room was filled with a bright light and Hagar couldn’t move his
body. The aliens began to panic when they realized he was awake and
quickly disconnected and disappeared. He could hear them speaking to
each other through telepathy as they quickly disappeared into the
light. The next day he went out and bought a telescope and several
books about aliens. It was the start of a lifelong fascination with
extra-terrestrials and the paranormal.
Throughout his life Hagar claims to have
had several more visits from these aliens and claims they have given
him important information during their visits which has helped him
become the successful musician he is today. Hagar believes the
beings come from the 9th dimension, a group of extra-terrestrials
called ‘The Nine’. His obsession with space and UFO’s has led him to
being nicknamed the ‘Red Rocker’, perhaps a reference to the red
planet Mars. He has also recorded albums titled ‘Marching to Mars’
and ‘Red Voodoo‘. And he also named his publishing company ‘Nine
Music’.
Along with his experiences with aliens,
Hagar also once had a strange visitation from a familiar apparition.
As told on the BIO Network’s special ‘Celebrity Ghost Stories’,
Hagar awkwardly tells of a strange night he once had soon after
moving to San Francisco, California at 20 years old. With little
money at the time, Hagar was living in a one room apartment with his
new wife and son. He had no phone, no furniture, and the three slept
together on a mattress on the floor. One night while all three were
asleep, Hagar woke to a violent knocking at his front door. It was
about 4 in the morning and someone was pounding on the front door to
the point where he was almost afraid to answer. But to keep from
waking his wife and baby, he quickly opened the door to find his
father standing there. His father was drunk, laughing, loud, and
belligerent. It was the first time Hagar had seen his dad in almost
six months. The Hagar father was always an embarrassment to the
family. Known as the town drunk, Hagar’s father would often find
himself in trouble from drinking and fighting and for the past 5
months was homeless and living in the park in San Bernardino,
California over 400 miles away.
Hagar wasn’t sure how his father had found
him, but he certainly wasn’t going to let him in in his condition.
He quickly pushed his father back through the doorway and told him
to come back when he was sober. As he closed the door and got back
in bed, the knocking at the door started again. Angrily, Hagar went
back to the door to yell at his father one more time but opened it
to find his landlord standing there. The landlord informed Hagar
that his brother and sister were on his phone with an important call
for him. He went into the landlord’s apartment and picked up the
phone. His brother and sister sadly explained that the police had
just found their father dead under a park bench in San Bernardino.
Hagar couldn’t believe his ears. He was speechless. Just moments ago
he had not only seen his father at his front door but could feel and
smell him. It is a common paranormal event called ‘Crisis
Apparition’ when someone in crisis will have an outer body
experience and visit a loved one before dying. Hagar considers the
event his father‘s way of saying goodbye.
So rock star Sammy Hagar has seen aliens
and he has seen his father‘s ghost. This is another example of a
celebrity who not only openly admits to experiences with the
paranormal but in this case actually credits the paranormal with
having a positive effect on his life and career.
