RISEUP PARANORMAL is a not-for-profit organization, based in Rhode Island and Connecticut that specializes in the investigation of paranormal activity within the realm of Hauntings, UFO experiences, and cryptozoology. Our teams are comprised of experienced and educated adults from many walks of life: historic and archaeological research, psychology, photography, electronics, health care and electronic and structural engineering, to name just a few. Our ultimate goal is to conduct unbiased data gathering through documentation and active investigation to help better understand the alleged phenomena. We accomplish this by using a variety of recording instruments, thorough historic research, and common sense. We are always available for consultation regarding unexplained phenomena in your home or business and all of our services are performed at no cost. We are also dedicated to providing information about paranormal topics for any interested parties. We base our investigations on historical research and have a diverse knowledge of the paranormal, the occult, myth and folklore and applied scientific theory. All members of RISEUP are expected to deal with these subjects on a case-to-case basis. While we remain open to the existence of ghosts, spirits, extraterrestrial beings, and cryptozoological animals, we conduct each investigation without pretensions. In this way we are neither believers nor debunkers, but unbiased observers looking to provide an honest service for anyone in need.
To do this we must:
1) Identify any environmental factors that may help explain the activity.
2) Survey and historically research a property in an attempt to gain insight into a particular location.
3) Establish a timeline and determine if there is a pattern to the activity.
4) Provide a support system and/or support services upon request. While we can't pay the plumber, electrician, counselor, etc., we can recommend someone reputable and proficient in a given field. We can also contact the clergy for assistance and/or guidance depending on the beliefs of our clients.
5) Provide an understanding and attentive ear to anyone willing to tell their story.
6) Provide detailed information for anyone interested in the paranormal.
Most importantly we will always be accessible for anyone to contact us. Our support does not end after a single investigation or consultation and we pledge to stick by those who have sought our assistance.
