RISEUP PARANORMAL CONNECTICUT is the first sanctioned affiliate of RISEUP Paranormal. Based in Beacon Falls, the RISEUP CT group shares the RISEUP philosophy of conducting unbiased investigations based on solid background and historical research and extensive information gathering. We also take the same pride in our organization and professionalism. We are a serious and responsible team available to provide paranormal information and support to those in and around the Connecticut area and beyond.

TARA MELENDEZ, Team Lead/ Investigator…. Tara is a Valley native and currently resides in Beacon Falls with her husband Sam and three sons. She has worked for many years in the medical field. She had many unexplained and paranormal experiences from childhood and started investigating as a teenager. She has a love of history that resonates in her research of locations. Although a skeptic, Tara strongly believes in life after death and seeks the evidence to support her beliefs. When not investigating, Tara enjoys photography, time with family and hiking.

GAIL CAPOLUPO, Case Manager/ Investigator…. Gail is a Watertown, Connecticut native where she resides with her husband. She has a love for history and the paranormal; fully believing that the two intertwined. Sometimes, the abnormal can turn out to be the normal with a simple explanation. She is a 3rd degree black belt and doesn't get riled up easily by unexplained noises. Instead Gail chooses to get into the meat and potatoes on every investigation she is involved in, like a good mystery novel. Always enjoining it 'til the last page.

 

CASEY REILLY, Historical Researcher/ Investigator…. Born in New Hampshire, Casey currently resides in Naugatuck with her husband, Rich. Most of her experiences with the paranormal stem from her childhood in New Hampshire. She read many books about ghosts, spirits, hauntings and psychic phenomena. As an Energy and Massage Therapist she has a deep understanding of how we as humans perceive things of unusual nature.  While having a calming presence and being open-minded is essential in her life, she is level-headed and thorough viewing all aspects of a situation before coming to a decision.

SAM MELENDEZ, Technical Specialist/ Investigator….Sam lives in Beacon Falls with his wife Tara and three children. He was a non-believer of the paranormal for many years until his wife brought him along on a few investigations. The evidence they obtained was enough to make Sam want to seek out answers and explanations to the unknown.   

  

RICH REILLY, Investigator…. Rich has been dabbling in the paranormal since his teenage years. He accompanied his brother on investigations and learned more from attending seminars given by Ed and Lorraine Warren. He has always felt there is life after death, however he believes seeing or hearing is believing.

ANN COLLETTE, Investigator…. Ann's interest in the paranormal began as a child after several unexplained visits from deceased relatives she had never met. Her curiosity prompted a lifetime of study and interest in energy systems, parallel dimensions and paranormal experiences. Despite her own encounters, she remains skeptical and is views herself as a seeker rather than a believer. When she is not exploring the unknown, she studies and teaches martial arts. Ann lives in Watertown, Connecticut with her fiancé' Don and her fourteen year old son Jeremy.

DON KRANTZ, Investigator…. Don was introduced to paranormal investigating by his girlfriend, and current RISEUP CT member Ann Collette.  After joining the RISEUP RI team on a couple of public investigations, Don quickly became hooked and began assisting the RISEUP team on a regular basis. Although new to the world or the paranormal, as natural skeptic and scientific-based thinker, Don’s investigation techniques are a perfect match for the RISEUP philosophy.

JOHN DESCHENES, Investigator…. John currently resides in Beacon Falls and is a student at SCSU. He has had many experiences growing up that have been both paranormal and unexplained. Investigating comes as second nature to him, having been brought up around the equipment and investigations his family is involved with. John has a love of music and art and when not investigating can be found drawing, playing his guitar or sculpting masks.
